Lori Beckman, A.A.E., A.C.E.-Security/Trusted Agent
Lori Beckman is the President/CEO of ASC, formally the Director of Security for Denver International Airport. Ms. Beckman has been in the airport operations and security industry for many years and is an accredited airport executive with the American Association of Airport Executives. She retains a Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Management with a Business Minor, as well as a Master’s Degree in Aerospace Science. Ms. Beckman is well-known throughout the industry and Federal government.
Lori has been involved in projects with FAA-Security pre 9/11 and in recent years the Transportation Security Administration (TSA). Previous project examples are spear-heading changes in the Criminal History Record background check program that all airport employees are subjected too, advocating meaningful changes to Federal security regulations and working with the TSA, the airport and airline industry through working groups to help TSA define security needs in many areas such as perimeter protection and employee screening.
Prior to leaving Denver International Airport Lori was named in the Security Magazine Top 500 Security Executive list in 2006, she was ranked number 100 of the 500 hundred executives named. Executives were named from all industries.
Don Beckman, C.M, A.C.E.-Security
Don Beckman is the Vice-President of ASC, Mr. Beckman has worked in the
aviation industry for over 25 years and his background includes aviation safety, auditing and training management for companies
with large operations nationwide. Don conducts third party auditing at commercial service airports and major government facilities.
Additionally, Don provides training expertise to clients providing security at commercial service airports and government
Don also has general aviation experience managing FBO customer service facilities and aircraft handling operations, which includes performing operational and training assessments of general aviation service companies.
Carol Spear, A.C.E.-Security
Carol is an established and innovative leader with extensive aviation experience, both internationally and domestically within the US. Ms. Spear has a strong reputation for implementing effective change management and running cost effective, customer focused operations for airport and airlines; providing outstanding safety, security and customer service. Ability to provide strategic direction, design implementation plans and deliver results on time and within the required budget.
Ms. Spear has conducted risk assessments and assisted in the development of corporate security protocols and introduced security enhancements during the Gulf War and after 9/11. Conducted air cargo Security Audits in Kenya, Pakistan, Egypt, Greece, Turkey, Italy and Germany. Carol has been responsible for capital building projects in Athens, Boston, New York and San Francisco and has applied innovative change management to operations and maximized the use of technology, reviewed processes and staff training requirements in order to deliver exceptional customer service. Designated as mentor for new operational Managers and Supervisors.
Ms. Spear conducted regular safety and security audits to ensure the regulatory compliance of the airline with TSA and FAA mandates and wrote the local emergency procedures manual and trained all staff. Managed local security and safety incidents.
Kara Bilstein, C.M., A.C.E.-Security
Kara Bilstein has over 20 years aviation security and law enforcement experience, with skillsets that include Public Area Security, Airport Security Program development and security technology design and implementation. Ms. Bilstein brings expertse to the assessment of credentialing processes and the adjudication of criminal history records checks.
